Beware of Scheme Global Services Part 7

It took me quite a while to write Part 7 of this blog because I was waiting for updates from our friends regarding the first two NLRC hearings about the case they filed against Scheme Global Services. Meanwhile, the force leaves issued on the 55 affected agents of SGS has been dragging on for about 40 days now, more or less. Nothing has changed in that span of time aside from the fact that HP agents have been continuously leaving this foul company. Yes, they either remove them or worse, do things to make them resign. I will first give you some updates on what's happening to SGS's HP account which may have little to do about the sad plight of the 55 agents I'm writing about because I'm sure you're more than interested to hear about them anyway.

First, at least five (2 from PSG and 3 from IPG) Team Managers were issued TLO's. That's "temporary lay-off." If I'm wrong, correct me, but that's the information that I have. This next part is true, though: at least one of these five TM's I'm talking about already filed a case against SGS in NLRC. Wow, Mr. Nemanja Zec, you and the call center you're running is starting to become really well known in NLRC! Hahaha. That's four separate cases that I already know of from HP people alone!
Need I mention that numerous cases were also filed by agents from different accounts, especially from Sirius? Hustle-hustle Mr. Zec, we don't want these cases to pile up now, do we? You were overheard saying that you don't care about the Philippine Labor Laws. You certainly feel untouchable, don't you? Don't worry, with the number of cases coming your way, you will definitely feel the pressure very soon. You and your cohorts may have the upper hand for now but karma as they say is digital. You'll get your taste of bad karma very soon!

Second, the initial plan of transferring HP PSG people to the Shaw site stopped. The latest information we have about this is that PSG people will be transferred to HP IPG (still in SGS QC site) instead. Now, this plan was conceived even before the "force leave" issue happened. The upper management can't seem to make up their minds whether they will push through with this plan or not. I don't know with you people, but if the upper management keep on changing their plans as often as they go to the comfort rooms to relieve themselves, that's when you start doubting their leadership abilities. It's either you're fucked because they don't know what they're doing or you're fucked because they're trying to polish their plans of fucking you up.
With the unholy alliance Mr. Nemanja Zec and Mr. Jojo Reyes, I'd bet my ass it's the latter. There's only one problem here, you sons of bitches - the people on your employ are not stupid and are definitely not morons! We see right through you and we know what you're cooking because it's reeking of vile intentions and rotten schemes!

OK, deny this little story I heard, if you can, Mr. Site Director - isn't it true that you talked to a few people still taking calls for PSG to sell your idea of bringing them over to IPG instead of the Shaw site? This is because STM Dunstan Prado, one of your kiss-ass managers, got a little troubled when these employees kind of questioned your decision to retrain them. So Mr. STM tucked his tail between his legs and you came down from your throne to talk to these mortals. Is that how guilty you've become? You even promised these people a "pizza party" to thank them for agreeing to transfer to IPG! Wow! Everyone, give Mr. Zec a round of applause! The thing is - these pizza parties are common practice during trainings. Ask the people in Training and the people from IPG and they'll tell you that it's true. Mr. Zec is promising something that's already been promised before. It's like offering to pay for someone's fare in an E-Jeep in Makati! It will take more than a few boxes of pizza to make things right, sir. Have someone translate this for you - Hindi lang kayo mga kuripot, ang kakapal pa ng mukha ninyo!

Third, I heard that HP pulled out of Scheme Global Services' London Site. I also heard that a lot of people were laid off there save for a handful. Wow, not only is the fact that this company DOES NOT HAVE salary appraisal for employees who just reached a year of service that is global. Its practice of laying off people without due process is global, too? This is indeed Scheme GLOBAL Services at its best (or should I say worst?)! To none-Stream employees reading this, YES you're better off with other call centers who at least give salary appraisals on an employee's 12th month with the company! Stream is not only governed by people with poor managerial skills (I'm talking about upper management level here especially in the SM North QC site), it is also headed by people who are afraid to shell out money for their employees benefits or satisfaction! Talk to any employee in the SM North site and then mention HMO (Health Maintenance Organization) and chances are they'd be spewing invectives in 10 seconds flat!

Fourth, a TLO was also handed out to one of PSG's two STM's. There are only two of them, so if you see STM Mitch Ng walking around the HP floor then that means it's the other STM who got the boot. More clues? C'mon, I've given you enough already! Okay, this STM's initials are E.T. Okay, so that's that for updates. Why? Has it got something to do with some "lost papers?" Your paranoia is becoming worse and rightfully so - sa dami ng wina-walanghiya ninyo sa kumpanya ninyo, dapat lang kayo mag-isip kung sino ang loyal sa inyo! Not everyone who smiles at you loves you, oh Stream! I'm sure most of them are smiling but is secretly wishing that something ill happens to you.

As for the cases filed against Scheme Global Services, I will include details of the hearings and the proceedings in Part 8 which will come out about 2 days after I post this. Here's a teaser: An on-the-spot FGD with some of the "recalled" agents was called by Site Director Nemanja Zec. It seems our infamous Site Director wasted no time in getting a feel of the agents he wronged. From what I've seen and what I know, the employees who filed cases against Stream has tons of documents to prove in court that you are guilty of "constructive dismissal." You may be able to snake or worm your way past some loopholes but make no mistake about it - they will nail you and they will nail you good! You have no right to put people on force leave any time you feel like it without good reason and without following the correct process and expect to get away with it. So, to those agents who are following this blog, it doesn't matter if you're from the SM North QC site or not - strike back! Haul these sons-of-bitches' asses to court! Do not be afraid because there is justice for those who are wronged by this call center from hell!

You are not the only call center in the Philippines or in the world, Scheme Global Services! You may have hidden your face and disguised yourself as a long-time investor in Manila by that merger with E-Telecare but you cannot hide your foul stench with the kind of abuse that your employees are experiencing under your wings. Wings that should be clipped in the soonest time possible before you infect other call centers who are treating their agents fairly. You have been here for just a little more than a year and look at your image and reputation if you have any. You should be kicked of our country! We can start with you, Mr. Nemanja Zec, Jojo Reyes (Pilipino ka pa naman... PWE!), Dunstan Prado and your cohorts! We have more than enough call centers here and I'm sure others are still planning to invest here - the Philippines will do OK without you - Scheme Global Services! We don't need you abusive employers here!!!

  9. I'm sorry, for not writing a new blog regarding updates. The reason for that is I don't want to bore you guys with all the details.

Be assured that the case filed by the agents who were included in the forced leaves is still being heard. Position papers are being exchanged by both parties as I'm writing this. So, YES, the fight is still on.

I'm still in the process of gathering news to share with you all regarding this topic and a lot more about Scheme Global Services. You'll hear from me again soon. Thanks for reading.

I will keep you posted para ganahan ang lahat. Keep praying at sana yung bill na ginagawa ni Sen. Miriam D. Santiago matuloy kasi walang matibay na batas governing call center employees. Wala tayong protection laban sa mga abusive na multi-national companies na to.

  12. Hi! I was also a former employee of Stream GS and I filed a case against them for illegally terminating me considering the fact that they didn't also follow due process. This blog of yours is indeed exceptional and inspiring! Hindi pala ko nag-iisa.
